Set on the idyllic banks of the river Avon along from Stratford-upon-Avon, Stratford Parks is the perfect location to have a riverside holiday home if fishing is your pastime, or something you would like to try your hand at. Here you can take advantage of a mile and a half of exclusive, free fishing rights with easily accessible fishing spots within the holiday home park and quieter, more secluded pegs in the Fisherman’s Field.
Owning a holiday home at Stratford Parks means you’re just a stone’s throw from the river and you can while away a few hours fishing whenever you choose. The fishing season runs from 16th June to 16th March and you can expect to find chub up to 7lb, barbel up to 15lb, bream up to 8lb and specimen silver fish as well as predators including perch up to 5lb, pike up to 25lb and zander up to 12lb in the river Avon. Autumn time is especially productive for the larger chub and barbel whilst the warmer months are more favourable to bream and silver fish. The colder winter months will always produce some huge pike and zander as well as the specimen perch.
There’s some fantastic wildlife to be seen from the riverbank too, our holiday home owners report spotting kingfishers, herons, otters and cormorants to name a few. Our riverside holiday home park in Warwickshire is a great place to relax and enjoy the nature that surrounds you.
